A quick summary of my evaluation:

I felt that overall I was able to deliver an industry standard product on schedule.
Things I learnt:
-          Formatting a screenplay
-          Dialogue within a screenplay
-          Music conventions within a screenplay
-          Monologue conventions within a screenplay
-          Developing interesting relatable characters
-          Showing not telling
-          Shooting in a confined space
-          Planning and management of actors on set
Things I found challenging:
-          Was difficult at beginning to create a realistic screenplay (I had to add dialogue)
-          Easy to make elements such as mise-en-scene too vague – have to make sure all thoughts are contained on page whilst leaving room for director to experiment
-          Difficult to maintain continuity with headphones – easy to forget whether actor had headphone in ear or out of ear etc

Aims - Produce an industry standard screenplay - Produce an industry standard storyboard which effectively communicates my screenplay. Industrial context Target audience The film will resonate universally. Elevator music, and how annoying it is, is something that many people can emphasise with. It will be predominantly aimed at a 16-35 year old audience as they will appreciate the dark comedic genre of the film. Techniques for positioning audience I use misc-en-scene with the Walkman to effectively communicate how Jack loves music. This reinforces how important his hearing is to him - therefore making it more poignant when he looses it to elevator music.

Hopefully they will put me in the same frame of mind as the main character. I may also end up choosing to use a few of these in my screenplay as soundtracks etc.
